Attend the Brooklyn Memorial Day Parade
On Monday, May 27, 2024, New York City will commemorate Memorial Day with its annual parade, a solemn and moving tribute to the nation's veterans and fallen heroes. The parade will step off at 10:00 AM from 3rd Avenue and 93rd Street in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and proceed along 5th Avenue to 72nd Street. Over 10,000 participants are expected, including veterans, military units, community groups, and marching bands.

After the parade, head over to Coney Island for a day of fun and excitement at Luna Park, the iconic amusement park that reopened in 2023. Ride the Thunderbolt, one of the country's oldest wooden roller coasters, or take a spin on the B&B Carousell, a beautifully restored classic.
